AvailableGumbo is a playful male Golden Retriever puppy, still in the baby stage. He’s large for his age and currently located in Crown Point, IN. While he is not yet house trained, he will receive vaccinations and deworming before adoption. Except for his puppy energy, he is an affectionate companion who enjoys the company of other dogs. Gumbo has not yet been altered, and his loving new family will need to agree to a spay/neuter arrangement after his adoption.
About Gumbo
Meet Gumbo, an adorable male Golden Retriever puppy who’s all set to fill your home with joy. Born on June 13, he came to the rescue with his siblings when they were just 6 weeks old, needing a safe environment. He’s playful and affectionate, ready to become your new best friend. Adoption comes with special requirements. Gumbo needs a fenced-in backyard and someone home most of the day to spend quality time with him. Families should have children aged 8 years or older, and homes with only one dog are preferred. Instead of using a crate, a puppy pen must be utilized to help those little paws acclimate. You can only adopt him if you live in Indiana or nearby states, as transportation isn’t available. Once you submit your application online, a review will determine if you're a good fit. If approved, a $50 deposit will hold Gumbo for you until he’s ready to go home after August 8th. He will receive regular deworming and necessary vaccinations and will be microchipped but will not be spayed/neutered before adoption. Adopters must agree to a spay/neuter clause and submit a refundable $75 deposit after the procedure. Gumbo is looking forward to meeting his forever family.
