About Gus
Meet Gus, one of nine adorable Golden Retriever puppies born on June 13. This little guy is searching for a forever home where he can thrive and grow. Gus comes from a loving environment with his mom and dad, both AKC registered, but they do not include registration papers. Given the circumstances of their arrival, he and his siblings needed a climate-controlled home which they were fortunate to find. It's essential that Gus goes to a home with a fenced yard, as invisible fences will not suffice. Families should have someone at home more during the day to dedicate time to puppy play and training. Children in the household must be at least eight years old. While families with no dogs or just one dog are welcome, multiple-dog households won't be considered. Applicants must live in Indiana or nearby states, as transportation isn't an option for these little pups. Before adoption, puppies will receive vaccinations, regular deworming, and a microchip. While Gus won't be spayed prior to adoption, new owners will need to agree to a spay/neuter contract. Adoption begins on August 8, and a $50 deposit will reserve the puppy of your choice, refundable if you choose not to adopt after meeting him. Please note, there will be no pre-adoption meet and greets for these puppies. After approval, your first meeting will be the day you bring Gus home. With his playful and gentle nature, Gus is looking for a patient and loving family to help him flourish. Ready to add some joy to your life? Apply today!
