About Mirae"
Meet Mirae, a brave girl with a heart full of love. At 5 years old, this spayed female Jindo weighs 31 lbs and captures hearts with her affectionate nature. Despite the challenges she has faced, including losing her left hind leg, Mirae has shown incredible resilience. She was rescued after being found alone on a rural road, and it took time for a caring volunteer to earn her trust. Mirae adores being close to her humans, spending her days relaxing by your side. While she sometimes enjoys playing with stuffed toys, her true joy comes from being with people. Her adjustment to life on three legs has been remarkable; she explores outdoors and is actively working on her leash training. This gentle soul has no separation anxiety but prefers to be the only dog in the home, as she can become jealous around other pets. While she allows gentle handling, sudden movements can startle her; she's particularly sensitive when it comes to her hindquarters or nail trimming. Mirae seeks a family that appreciates her gentle heart, understands her sensitivities, and aims to provide a loving environment. If you're looking for a loyal companion who thrives on human connection, Mirae may be your perfect match. Adoption Fee: $525 Mirae is currently in a foster home in Korea and will be transported to the U.S. after adoption. Because of this, in-person meet-and-greets arenโt possible. Ready to adopt?
