About Buoy
Buoy was surrendered to a shelter due to being part of an unwanted litter in a rural area. Fortunately, a compassionate foster took him and his siblings in when they were just 9 weeks old. Now at 3 months, Buoy has completed his veterinary care. He sports an adorable heart-shaped spot on his side, marking him as truly special. This little guy weighs about 10 pounds, and being a Jack Russell Terrier mix, he’s expected to be a small adult, like his mama who is only 16 pounds. Buoy gets along great with dogs of all ages and sizes, and he’s also friendly with cats. He loves being around people and has been wonderful with young children. Currently, he is almost house trained and is learning to walk on a leash, making steady progress. Buoy is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations, including rabies and DHPP. He’s microchipped, heartworm negative, and on flea and tick prevention. If you’re in the Dewitt, NY area, he can arrive soon.
