About Petal
Meet Petal 1 year old | Plott Hound / Husky mix | 53 lbs Spayed Up-to-date on vaccines Petal is the kind of girl who turns heads without even trying. With her striking mismatched eyes, elegant brindle coat, and tall, model-esque ears, she looks like she stepped straight out of a doggy fashion editorial. She's beauty and personality - a rare combo. At just a year old, Petal is full of youthful charm and playful curiosity. She's affectionate, expressive, and deeply connected to her people. She absolutely adores kids-sometimes a little too enthusiastically-so while she's loving and gentle at heart, she's still learning to manage her strength during playtime. Dog savvy, learning and growing: Petal does best with proper introductions and time to settle in. She previously struggled with her foster dog brother, but with patience and consistency, they now play and wrestle happily together. She's proof that growth is possible with the right support. Cats: Petal is curious and playful with cats, sometimes a little too interested. She's improving, but would do best with dog-savvy cats, slow introductions, and continued guidance. Home life & training: Crate training: improving! She'll go in with treats and encouragement, though she may still protest a bit. Potty training: about 50/50 and getting better-she's learning and making progress. Enrichment: this girl needs a good, heavy-duty chew toy to keep her mind happy and busy. Petal is a gorgeous, affectionate young dog who will thrive in a home willing to continue her training, provide structure, and appreciate her playful spirit. With consistency and love, she's going to absolutely blossom If you're looking for a stunning, soulful companion with star quality and a heart full of potential-Petal is your girl.
