About Duck
Meet Duck, a charming little guy currently in foster care in Houston, Texas. At about one year old and weighing around 20 lbs, Duck carries a personality full of affection and sweetness. While he can be a bit shy and startled by sudden noises, he has made great progress in his training. He’s almost fully house trained and walks well on a harness, though he prefers quiet neighborhoods due to his sensitive nature. Duck is a velcro dog who loves to stick close to his humans, enjoying their company and cuddling up next to them. He does get attached quickly and thrives on attention. While Duck gets along with his foster's other dogs, he can be protective over his treats and food, making him ideally suited for a home as the only dog or with another laid-back companion. He is going to make a wonderful addition for someone who can shower him with love and attention. This sweet boy cannot be placed in homes with children under the age of 8.
