Rose
AvailableRose is a young, small mixed breed puppy—a blend of Golden Retriever and Poodle—currently in Oakland, NJ. She is a spayed female with vaccinations up to date. Rose has a serious heart condition that requires ongoing medical care and a quieter lifestyle. She gets along well with other dogs and is still learning house training. At this stage, she weighs about 15lbs and will likely top out at 30lbs or less.
About Rose
Rose is a four-month-old Mini Goldendoodle facing a tough start in life. Instead of spending her puppy days chasing toys in the yard, she's managing a severe heart condition—pulmonic stenosis—that will almost certainly curtail her time. She was sold as a healthy pup, but her heart murmur was quickly discovered, and her little body is already working overtime. Rose has started heart medication and will see a cardiologist soon to see if any procedure might buy her some time. This puppy doesn't act sick. She bounces around, takes her meds without fuss (hidden in her food), and still loves to play—even though her activity has to be limited to protect her heart. At the moment, she's about 15lbs and is expected to stay under 30lbs. Rose is still working on housetraining and is in the teething phase. She needs a local foster who can transport her to frequent vet appointments and continue her gentle routine. She is friendly with other dogs and just wants a peaceful place to be a puppy for as long as she can. Think you can offer her the love and safety she needs? Lets make it official, apply to adopt!

Questions about Rose
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Mini Goldendoodles like Rose don't demand a huge yard, but they do enjoy some outdoor time. In Rose's case, gentle walks or a small, secure area to explore are ideal given her heart issues.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Rose's breed mix is known for being excellent with children. If the home is calm and kids are taught to be gentle, she can fit in with families who understand her medical needs.
