Meet Pirate, a remarkable little survivor in search of his forever home. He was adopted in October 2025 but finds himself looking for a new family due to some challenges at home. His previous owner loves him dearly but realized that Pirate’s energetic and playful spirit was too much for her senior cat. With her heart in the right place, she knows he deserves a space where he can truly thrive. Pirate is completely blind, but he doesn’t let that hold him back. He runs, plays, and explores with confidence, happily navigating his environment using his sharp hearing, whiskers, and sense of smell. Every day is an adventure for him, and once he learns his surroundings, he easily finds his food, water, favorite napping spots, and the people he loves. His journey hasn’t been easy; Pirate began his life under a house with 15 other kittens, facing challenges even in his early days. Despite losing his remaining eye and starting off as the runt of the litter, he has shown tremendous resilience. Now, he plays fetch, loves to wrestle with toys, and is incredibly affectionate. His coat is soft and beautiful, and although he's grown since joining rescue, he'll likely remain on the smaller side as an adult. Pirate would flourish in a home with another playful young cat who enjoys fun and games. He also delights in human company and would love a home where someone is around often for playtime and cuddles. Interestingly, he has forged a sweet friendship with a gentle puppy named Lina, which has opened the door to the possibility of living with a calm dog, provided introductions are managed carefully.
