About Tulip

Meet Tulip, a lively Labrador Retriever mix who is just 8 weeks old and already ready to find her forever home! Living in a South Carolina shelter, she's looking for loving fosters or adopters in the DC area who can take her in. Tulip currently weighs around 11 lbs, making her a perfect little companion to take on adventures. At this playful age, sheโ€™s in the prime of her socialization window and can thrive alongside other dogs, cats, and children, provided she gets proper guidance. Tulip dreams of playing with toys, going on walks, and exploring her new neighborhood. Her future family should be prepared to offer her plenty of potty breaks and exercise throughout the day, especially with her young age. Though Tulip has received her age-appropriate vaccinations, she isn't fully vaccinated yet, so her new family must ensure she finishes her vaccine schedule. Additionally, as a young pup, she hasn't been spayed yet, but this must be arranged before the end of November 2026. Tulip is eager to join you on this journey and grow into a happy, socialized dog. Could you be the one to give her the loving home she's looking for? Click apply to start the adoption process.
