About Spotty
Meet Spotty! Spotty is a charming Pembroke Welsh Corgi, born in April 2021. Previously used as a breeding dog, he’s now embracing a fresh start at The Rescue Inn. This clever boy is making great strides with potty training; he’s had no accidents in the kennel, and though he’s wearing belly bands indoors, he's learning quickly and adapting well. With an eagerness to chew, Spotty is discovering the joy of dog toys, and his foster mom finds it easy to redirect him to the right things, like a bone. He's also working through some mild resource guarding issues, which are manageable with consistent training. Spotty has formed great relationships with his canine foster siblings, and he knows to give his "mean" feline housemate some space, indicating he will likely do well with cats in his forever home.
