Leilani faced unimaginable cruelty during her infancy, yet she survived against all odds. Rescued from a horrific situation where she and her siblings were destined for a tragic fate, she showed remarkable resilience. After being adopted at eight weeks, we believed her toughest days were behind her. Unfortunately, life took another unexpected turn, and Leilani is now looking for a new home. Despite her past, Leilani radiates loyalty and love. She forms deep connections and seeks companionship with her people. She possesses a playful spirit and a protective nature, always wanting to be close to her loved ones. However, she does require understanding in her new home. Leilani thrives best with submissive dogs and in an environment without young children, as she can be territorial over her food and toys. At just over a year old, Leilani has struggled for a sense of belonging, and she deserves someone who will offer her unconditional love and security. If you can appreciate her journey and become her forever family, she will reward you with unwavering devotion. Currently, Leilani is in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and can be transported to various locations in the continental United States, though Massachusetts residents cannot adopt her at this time.
