At nearly 4 years old and around 55 pounds, he embodies the perfect mix of adventure buddy and cozy companion. Whether it's a morning hike, a leisurely walk, or just relaxing at home, Ranger thrives when he’s by your side. This medium-energy Shepherd mix enjoys his daily exercise but doesn’t require excessive activity—some trail time or a neighborhood stroll suits him just fine. Ranger is an excellent travel partner, always eager to hop in the car for new adventures. His intelligence shines through as he is highly trainable, already knowing commands like sit, stay, and place. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. Ranger loves people and is great with young children, making him a wonderful family companion. He might benefit from a confident canine friend to help him navigate new experiences. However, he does have a keen interest in chasing squirrels and may not be the best fit for a home with cats. Ranger has a sensitive stomach, so a consistent diet without rich treats is ideal.
