About Zeus
Zeus is ready to find his forever home after a challenging start to life. Surrendered due to a change in his owner’s circumstances, he arrived at the shelter with two leg fractures. Unfortunately, amputation was the kindest solution for him, but he's shown remarkable resilience as a tripod. He is also blind in one eye and has a retinal issue in the other, yet this doesn’t hold him back. Zeus is incredibly affectionate and lively, thriving on interaction with people and other dogs. He gets along wonderfully with dogs and is especially playful with his toys. This little guy is house-trained, crate-trained, and a joy in the car. He takes outings in his stroller and loves to explore while soaking up everyone's affection. Zeus has quickly proven himself smart—learning to use the doggie door in just two days. His adventures include lounging in the sun and playing games like “treats in the grass.” Zeus prefers a home with a fully fenced yard and older children to avoid any accidents. He loves being around people and always nudges for attention, a cute “poodle poke” signature move. With ongoing patience and care, he'll continue to thrive! If you can offer Zeus the loving home he deserves, apply today and get ready for endless affection from this wonderful companion.
