Trusty is great with children and does well with some dogs, though he needs to avoid big dogs and cats. He would thrive as an only dog or in a home with a compatible smaller dog. An active family would be a perfect match for him, as he loves to play, explore, and engage with others. He's crate trained, house trained, and absolutely loves being close to you. Trusty does experience separation anxiety, so he'll need a supportive family who can help him feel secure when left alone. He also has food aggression, which means he should be fed separately in a calm, structured setting. This smart, athletic boy needs secure boundaries. Trusty must be placed on a runner when outdoors or have access to a secure six-foot fence, as he can jump lower fencing. With the right setup, he’ll prove to be a happy, playful companion who enjoys every moment outdoors.
