About Gus
Meet Gus! If you're looking for an easygoing, affectionate companion, Gus may be your perfect match. He’s truly one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet, a gentle giant who loves everyone he encounters, including kids, cats, and other dogs. His calm demeanor and loving nature make him a joy to be around. Gus came to Happy Tails Happy Homes from a caring family who had to make the difficult choice to surrender him due to his skin allergies. Since joining the rescue, he has been undergoing allergy treatment and is on a strict diet to help manage his condition. His future family should be prepared to continue this dietary plan to keep him comfortable and healthy. Gus has fantastic house manners and is eager to fit seamlessly into family life. He is potty trained, crate trained, non-destructive when left alone, excellent on a leash, and enjoys car rides. Whether you're off on an adventure or relaxing at home, Gus is happiest simply being by your side. He cherishes life’s simple moments and asks for nothing more than love and companionship. If you're looking for a loyal, gentle, and incredibly well-mannered best friend, Gus is ready to find the forever family he deserves. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
