About Cherry

Meet Cherry! This delightful 9-month-old Pug mix weighs in at 15 pounds and was found as a stray in Houston, TX. Now, she's ready to put her past behind her and find the loving family she deserves. Cherry loves to engage with her toys, especially the puffy ones with crinkly sounds. She’ll play fetch with herself or happily bring the toy back to you if you throw it. After short bursts of playtime—about 15 to 20 minutes—she's ready to cuddle. Cherry enjoys snuggling up while you watch TV, and it’s quite amusing to see her watching alongside you. We're looking for a home that will provide Cherry with plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and affection. A positive reinforcement training class, whether virtual or in-person, is essential for her future development. It fosters good behavior and strengthens your bond with her. We can provide resources for trainers in your area. Cherry has been spayed, is healthy, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccinations. Farfel's Rescue offers a one-week trial period with every adoption, allowing you to ensure she’s a good fit. If things don't work out within the week, we offer a full refund of your adoption fee. If this cuddly companion sounds like the perfect fit for you, then fill out our adoption application today!
