About Tessa
Tessa is an adorable Pug/Chihuahua mix, currently around 2 to 3 years old and weighing 13 lbs, but she’s still working on gaining the weight she lost on the streets of New Mexico. After being rescued from a high-kill shelter, Tessa has blossomed into a loving companion in her foster home in Colorado. She thrives in the company of other dogs and requires a dog buddy for comfort. Tessa is friendly with everyone—people and animals alike. Initially shy, she quickly warms up and showcases her playful side, enjoying zoomies at the park and engaging in silly playtime with her furry friends. House-trained, she needs regular outdoor trips but truly flourishes with companionship at home. Tessa carries a gentle mom temperament and longs for a loving environment where she can form strong bonds. She’s still discovering the world and is eager for positive reinforcement training, which will only enhance her already sweet disposition. Her ideal home would have older kids who can actively participate in her training. Tessa is spayed and up to date on vaccinations, ready to find her forever home. She's a loving, soft, and affectionate dog who deserves a caring family to call her own. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
