Despite her shyness, she is beginning to show trust and transforms with affection, joyfully wagging her tail when she sees her foster or hears a gentle voice. Chai enjoys lounging in her cozy bed and spends her days observing her surroundings, occasionally surprising her foster with her collection of socks and toys. Currently, Chai is making progress with leash training, although she is still nervous. Her foster carries her outside and assists her in exploring the yard in a secure harness. Inside, she is reliable with potty pads, responding well to positive reinforcement. Chai is friendly with other pets, living harmoniously with three medium-to-large dogs and getting along well with cats. However, she may need some extra time to feel comfortable around young children. Her ideal home would be calm and filled with patient people who appreciate her gentle nature. Chai's quiet spirit shines through as she learns to trust again, and she rewards patience with tiny moments of bravery.
