About Stovepipe
Meet Stovepipe, an affectionate Dachshund-Poodle mix eager to share a lap or cuddle right next to you. At just 3 to 4 months old, this charming guy weighs around 15 pounds and is ready to embrace life with playful curiosity and warmth. Rescued from a shelter with his brother, Stovepipe initially faced the world with trepidation. Thankfully, he found a safe haven that nurtured his spirit, and now he's thriving. Stovepipe kicks off his day around 7 AM, starting with a potty break followed by the excitement of breakfast. Although he’s still figuring out his culinary preferences, he shows promising enthusiasm for treats like watermelon and green beans. His day involves delightful naps, games, and adventures in the backyard. When it’s time to wind down, Stovepipe curls up next to his foster family, preferring to sleep as close as possible to them. This little guy thrives on companionship and is very affectionate. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing with them, particularly a younger resident dog. Although he sometimes overlooks the need for personal space with the older dog, he’s learning the ropes. His ideal home would be one with a playful dog who can help him build confidence and familiarize him with the world. While he’s still getting accustomed to outings, Stovepipe is anticipated to turn into a fantastic adventure buddy once fully vaccinated. What’s more, he’s great with children and eager to be an integral part of a loving family. This little bundle of joy is ready for his forever home, where he can continue to enjoy new adventures and lots of cuddles. If you’re looking for a lovable companion who’s all about connection, Stovepipe could be the perfect match. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
