About Honey Boo
Honey Boo is a resilient Miniature Schnauzer who faced a tough start after being rescued from Barc Animal Shelter’s urgent list, where he was at risk of euthanasia due to a fractured spine. After undergoing laminectomy surgery, he has made remarkable progress and can walk some on his own, showcasing his fun-loving spirit. Honey Boo requires expressed care three times daily since he cannot fully urinate independently. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Though he is currently heartworm positive, he's been treated with Proheart 12 and doxycycline. A retest at our expense is needed in six months, and if the results remain positive, he will require another Proheart shot.
