About Macie and Anderson

If you're looking for two tiny comedians who treat every morning like it's the best day of their lives, welcome. You've found Macie and Anderson. These adorable Dachshund mixes arrived as a package deal. Not because they can't be apart, but because they simply shouldn't be. They came from a property where over 40 dogs lived together, and while every one of them was loved, the individual care they deserved was lacking. Macie came to us very pregnant, and Anderson was just a tiny puppy. From day one, they were inseparable. While Macie raised her six puppies, Andy was right by her side, playing and teaching them how to interact with other dogs. He became the unofficial Assistant Puppy Manager. If you've seen videos of the litter, you've likely spotted Andy right in the middle of the fun. Macie, about a year old and weighing around 13 pounds, is fully vetted and spayed. Her bright blue eyes can make anyone stop mid-sentence. Donโ€™t let her supermodel looks fool you; she's a total goofball who wakes up convinced today is going to be the greatest day ever. She's constantly inventing games, persuading other dogs to wrestle, and bringing laughter to everyone around her. And then there's sweet little Andy, around 7 months old and about 10 pounds. Heโ€™s a bit softer and more reserved with newcomers, always taking cues from Macie. Their bond is incredibly heartwarming. If Macie walks over for pets, Andy quickly follows, trusting her lead. He may be a little shy at first, but give him a moment, and he'll be right there seeking affection alongside Macie. Anderson, yet to be neutered as per vet recommendations, will be adopted with a neuter agreement. His adopters will be responsible for his neutering when he's old enough. Despite their shy beginnings, Macie and Andy blossom quickly around new people, showcasing their loving personalities. They dream of a home with a secure, fenced yard where they can chase butterflies, wrestle, and perform their famous zoomies. If that yard has a pool, Andy may never want to come inside! Macie and Anderson are a joyful pair that brings light wherever they go. They deserve a family where they will be the center of attention, with room for zoomies and plenty of love. Adopting these two means welcoming built-in entertainment and endless affection.
