Meet Scottie, a lovely female Beagle mix around 3-5 years old. Weighing in at about 35 lbs, she's on the path to a healthier weight of around 32 lbs. Scottie joined our care after being rescued from a challenging living situation, but her spirit remains bright and friendly. Despite her rough past, Scottie is outgoing and affectionate. She adores people, gets along wonderfully with children, and is friendly with both cats and other dogs. Although she has a small portion of her tongue missing—a result of her previous circumstances—Scottie shows no signs of resource guarding and is full of love to give. Scottie is house trained and knows how to handle her crate, making her a solid companion. She enjoys relaxing outside, whether it's lounging on the couch or keeping an eye on the squirrels.
