About Buddy

Buddy is an adorable 10-month-old male who’s equal parts playful and loving. This small, tri-color mix of Jack Russell Terrier and Rat Terrier has a gentle demeanor but is always ready for some fun. He’s been socialized well and gets along beautifully with other dogs, making him a great fit for a family that already has furry companions. Found running the streets near the Mexico border alongside his siblings, Buddy is now looking for a forever home. He thrives in an active environment—ideal for a family that enjoys outdoor adventures. While he loves to play, he also appreciates some downtime for cuddles after the fun. Buddy gets along well with children, preferring to be around those aged four and up due to his energetic nature. He's currently working on his crate and leash training, showing progress as he learns commands. When he's not playing with toys, you'll find him wanting to snuggle up next to you, especially at bedtime. Although it’s preferred that he goes to a home with another dog, he would do well with his siblings, Milo and Gia, as they share a close bond. Buddy is altered, vaccinated, and ready to find a family that will appreciate his affection. Click apply to start the adoption process.
