About Courtesy listing Jimmy
Jimmy is a young male dog, estimated to be around 2 years old. He’s a spirited mix of Border Collie and other breeds, and weighs about 35 pounds. His long, beautiful coat is a stunning gray-blue color. Jim is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Though he's making progress, he still needs some work on his leash manners, especially when excitement kicks in. He’s about 95% house trained now, thanks to a consistent routine, although he prefers not to stay in his crate overnight. Jimmy has previously dealt with anxiety, likely from his past, but he hasn’t shown destructive behavior while free-roaming. He enjoys playing with other dogs, though he requires mindful introductions due to some hyper-reactivity on-leash. While he can get a bit dominant, he’s quick to back down when corrected. He does well with people after a brief introduction, but he has shown food aggression toward other animals and has a prey drive, so he might not be ideal for homes with small pets or timid animals.
