About Gertie
Meet Gertie! She came to our rescue alongside her sister Eloise and brother Prescott after a compassionate shop owner spotted them exploring a busy Staten Island street. Concerned for their safety, she contacted us, and we eagerly took in this delightful family. Gertie, the smallest sibling, is a powerhouse of personality. She's clever and playful, often the first to start a wrestling match or a spontaneous playtime. Known for her skills in uncovering hidden treats and leading toy hunts, Gertie also savors peaceful naps on her foster mom's lap, purring contentedly. These three kittens are 4 months old, happy, and healthy, each spayed or neutered and negative for FeLV and FIV. They all follow their foster mom around, supervising her activities and happily joining her for cuddle sessions on the couch. Gertie and her siblings would be excellent companions for any family, including first-time pet owners. If you're interested in welcoming Gertie into your home, please complete the adoption application or text us for more information. We adopt out to loving homes across NYC, NJ, and Long Island. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
