Lou is a charming young beagle, brimming with personality. He found his way to rescue as a stray from a partner shelter. At around 20 lbs, he's a short, stocky fellow who is full of spunk. Despite being a bit shy at first, Lou warms up quickly and is a cuddly companion once he feels comfortable. He enjoys lounging on couches or elevated spots, feeling safe while watching his surroundings. Lou is learning commands and has made strides with his leash manners, although he can get sidetracked by captivating scents. A quieter living environment suits him best, as loud noises make him anxious. Currently living with a much larger foster brother, Lou plays and cuddles with him often, adding to the joyful atmosphere of the home. He loves to explore the backyard and sunbathe in the grass, but can have the occasional indoor accident if not let out regularly. He's eager to please and gets excited about treats, proving he's a fast learner. His playful antics will surely bring smiles to your day.
