The application can be found at: www.sosbeagles.org/adoptionform.php Huck likes a chew toy, he is still jumpy around noise and sudden movement. Rode great crated in car. One potty incident since going to foster. He has two safe spots in the home and tends to stay in those areas but getting braver. Not a mean bone in his body. Had to work with him to get him to drink water in house - he would seek buckets outside or the foster's spring fed creek. Now getting used to it. Will drink from a glass of water! He will try to invite himself to dinner and likes coffee. Not bad on leash but pulls when excited but manageable. Loves to sniff. Has been quiet. Will sleep through night. He got loose once and howled at her cousin who was helping get him from the field. He is a flight risk initially until he ettles and knows you. He came to them with a bowl of food. The vacuum cleaner and lawnmower don't scare him, but drop a phone or a loud truck drives y and he'll jump, shake, tuck his tail and go to his safe spot. Hesitates a bit over door thresholds. He'll need a patient home, preferably with a secure fence and no young energetic children who might scare him with their energy. Huck is about 2 to 3 years old and is being fostered in Matawan, NJ.
