About Annie
Annie is a charming one-year-old female Terrier mix who came to the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley on July 13, 2026, after being found by a Good Samaritan near New Matamoras, Ohio. Without a name tag or microchip, she is now looking for her forever home. This medium-sized pup has a striking black-and-white shorthaired coat with a unique pattern, a short docked tail, and a face that melts hearts, complete with dark golden eyes and perky semi-erect ears. Annie walks gracefully on a leash and has a lovely personality, always ready to share her affection and happiness. Unfortunately, despite the three-day stray hold required by Ohio law, no one came to claim her, which is a surprise given how sweet she is. Annie will be spayed before her official adoption, but she can be fostered-to-adopt while she waits for the procedure. She dreams of a cozy home where she can receive love and companionship around the clock. Is that with you?
