Living in Billerica, MA, this medium-sized puppy is ready to be a loving companion and is up to date on vaccinations. What a wonderful addition he will make to a family!
About Horace
Meet Horace! At just around 6 months old, Horace embodies the essence of a gentle soul. His journey began on a heartbreaking note; he was discovered abandoned in a police parking lot, dealing with mange and parasites. Thankfully, with the dedicated care of his foster in the South, Horace has healed both inside and out, and he's currently thriving in Massachusetts, gaining confidence every day. Horace is an easygoing presence in any home. His mornings often start with his foster having to wake him up, as he enjoys snoozing peacefully in his crate. He's great about letting you know when he needs to go outside, and afterward, he happily retreats to his crate for more rest. While he might need a gentle nudge to go in, once settled, he feels perfectly at ease. Living with three other dogs, Horace gets along wonderfully with them all. He balances play and relaxation beautifully; when it's time to romp around, he dives right in, and when it's time to chill, he enjoys snuggling up next to you. Cautious around new people, especially men, Horace has made fantastic progress with patience and treats. His foster dad and foster brother have been instrumental in helping him open up. His future family should be prepared to give him the time and care he needs to realize that new faces can become his favorite companions. We anticipate that Horace will remain on the smaller side, likely under 50 pounds when fully grown. Goofy, affectionate, and incredibly sweet, he’s ready to discover what a loving home can be like.
