Meet Zamfir! Hi! I’m Zamfir (pronounced Zam-fear), one of the famous "Wolfies!" My foster family chose an Old Romanian name for me because, as a tiny bottle baby, I resembled a little wolf pup rather than a kitten. These days, my main focus is on chasing toys, not howling at the moon! After a tough start, I journeyed from Eastern Oregon to Northwest Animal Companions. I was incredibly small and required round-the-clock bottle feedings to survive. With plenty of love and care, I blossomed into a healthy, happy kitten, and I’m now making up for lost time with endless playtime and curiosity. I’m outgoing, friendly, and always seeking my next adventure—whether it’s climbing to the highest perch, wrestling with my sister, or exploring every corner of the room. After expending all my kitten energy, I love to settle in for cuddles and purrs. People often notice my charming tuxedo markings and my uniquely adorable little toes—just a part of what makes me one of a kind! I would love to be adopted with my sister, Adelina. We’ve been through everything together, and she’s my favorite playmate and nap buddy.
