About Dusa
Dusa, a 2-year-old Cane Corso, is a sweet companion who takes a little time to warm up to new people. After changing family dynamics led her to seek a new home, she’s been in a foster environment that allows her to thrive. Though she may be small for her breed at around 60 pounds, she’s a loyal friend. Initially reserved, Dusa can take a few days to come out of her shell, but she quickly transforms into a playful and affectionate pup, enjoying the company of both dogs and cats. Dusa is housebroken but can occasionally experience "scared pee" when nervous. She enjoys sleeping in bed but might be a bit possessive about her spot; encouraging her to use her dog bed helps. She requires a calm home, ideally with older children aged 12 and up due to her playful nature. Dusa needs daily exercise and room to roam—she's not suited for townhouse living. Experience with Cane Corso or similar breeds is essential for her new adopters. Dusa is not yet spayed, but it's scheduled for early September. Ready to make a difference in Dusa’s life?
