About Morsel
Meet Morsel, a gentle young adult dog making her way to a brighter future. Rescued from a hoarding situation, Morsel arrived in foster care feeling frightened and overwhelmed. But she's steadily learning that love and safety are real. While still needing an understanding adopter, Morsel grows more confident every day. She’s discovering the comfort of routine and beginning to enjoy the little things that make a house a home. Affection isn’t something she shies away from anymore; in fact, she often responds with sweet little kisses. Morsel is cautious with unfamiliar people and new experiences, so slow introductions work best for her. Once trust is built, her affectionate nature shines, creating a deep bond that is incredibly rewarding. She’s learned to use pee pads but is also house trained and ready to thrive in a loving home. Though still mastering her leash skills, Morsel is crate trained and enjoys car rides. Morsel truly flourishes around other dogs. She shows natural submissiveness and needs a confident canine companion to guide her. A quieter home would suit her best, especially one with older, respectful children who appreciate her need for space and trust-building. One notable talent Morsel possesses is her ability to climb chain-link fencing, so potential adopters should take extra precautions. Morsel won’t be the instant companion many hope for, but for the right person, she offers something much deeper. Her love is formed slowly yet profoundly, making for a truly meaningful relationship. If you're patient and wish to see a dog discover how loved she can be, Morsel could be the perfect match. Morsel is currently in foster care in Reading, Pennsylvania, and ready to head home. Your new best friend is just one click away.
