About Sugar

Sugar is the sweetest little girl in search of a foster or forever home! As a Lab/Terrier mix, she’s just 7 weeks old and weighs about 8 lbs. Currently at a shelter in Puerto Rico, she's ready to head to Washington, DC for a loving family. Sugar thrives in a social environment and gets along well with other dogs, cats, and kids. Proper training and patience will help her flourish. Puppies under 6 months need regular breaks for play and potty; if you have a standard workday, consider how to meet her needs. Sugar is curious and excited to discover all the joys of puppyhood – from playful zoomies and cozy naps to training classes. She'll require some guidance with house training and will need to be taken to obedience school. Since Sugar is still very young, she hasn’t been spayed yet, but this will be a requirement within the contract. If you're looking for a loving and playful addition to your family, Sugar might just be the perfect match! Could you be the one to give her a forever home? Click apply to start the adoption process.
