He’s about 3 years old, weighs around 70 lbs, and has a friendly disposition that makes him great around other dogs. August has been house trained and maintains a clean slate in his foster home. Though he walks well on a leash, he's known to get easily distracted by squirrels in the yard—those little critters sure are a handful for him! August has received his vaccinations and is currently undergoing heartworm treatment, which will be managed by K-9 Lifesavers. He’s eager to learn and loves to be by his humans’ side. While he’s still picking up commands like "sit," his enthusiasm for play and affection shines through. This big lap dog is ready for a forever home where he can snuggle up and be part of the family.
