About Blanche
Blanche is a sweet girl in search of her happily ever after! This Beagle mix, about 4 years old, is looking for a foster or forever home in the DC area. Weighing around 17 lbs, she's currently waiting at a rural shelter and would thrive in a loving environment. Blanche gets along well with other dogs, making her a delightful companion. While we haven't seen her with cats or children, our team is more than willing to discuss how to integrate her into a home with kids or other pets. Though she has tested positive for heartworms, she’s landed in a place where treatment is provided. With the right care and monthly preventative, she can lead a full, active life after her treatment. Blanche dreams of going for sniffy walks, exploring the world, and learning at dog school. In return, she promises loyal companionship and loving gazes. This sweet girl deserves a second chance and is ready to close a tough chapter behind her. Are you ready to open your heart to her? Click apply to start the adoption process.
