Kipper arrived at his foster home following a significant hoarding case in Rhea County, where over 100 animals were found. After his transition, he quickly showcased his playful side despite having attended to some serious issues, like fleas and hair loss. Vets estimate him to be around 4 years old, weighing in at 10 lbs. Kipper is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and on preventative medications. He thrives in the company of other dogs and really enjoys being around his people, often wanting to stay close by. Lately, he’s been showing off his silly personality with bouts of zoomies and a growing interest in toys. While he’s compatible with other dogs, he really prioritizes his human companions. Kipper does have a tendency to bark when left alone, so a house with a yard—preferably fenced—would fit him best. House training is in progress, but he will need consistent guidance and patience. He can use a puppy pad or go outside, though he hasn’t yet mastered consistency. Kipper's vision has some limitations due to slightly lazy eyes, yet this doesn’t hinder his spirited zest for life. He might not yet know how to walk well on a leash, so a fenced yard suits him best for now. This sweet, snuggly boy is ready to become a loving sidekick for someone special!
