Meet Frita, a lively 7-month-old German Shepherd and pittie mix who weighs 29 lbs. This affectionate girl was surrendered to us after an accidental litter. While she can be a bit shy around new people, her playful nature shines through once she feels comfortable. Frita enjoys playing chase in the backyard, cuddling, and being petted. She has lived with older children and two large dogs, and she got along well with both. Since she was primarily kept outdoors while her previous owners were at work, she's not yet housetrained, but she's kennel-trained and barks when she needs to go outside.
