About Jack

Meet Jack, a lively red heeler in search of a new home free of ducks or chickens. He's an energetic 5.5-year-old weighing 31 lbs. Jack was surrendered by his previous owner due to his hunting instincts with small livestock and their lack of time. He's got a friendly demeanor and enjoys petting, having lived harmoniously with a German Shepherd and two small dogs, although he was less compatible with the small male. Jack is house and kennel-trained and spent most of his time outdoors. He knows basic commands like sit and is great with teenagers. While he can pull on the leash, a little training can help him refine that behavior. He’s an active pup who brings joy wherever he goes. Just keep him away from small livestock! Come visit Jack today and see if he's the right fit for your home. Your new adventure awaits!
