Rusty is a 1-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing 18 lbs, with a gentle, slightly shy demeanor and an abundance of love to give. Initially hesitant, he becomes incredibly affectionate, often resting his head on you or offering his paw for attention. This little guy enjoys walks and does well on a leash, though he may need some encouragement to venture out at first. With a medium energy level, Rusty appreciates a couple of short walks each day and plenty of cuddle time. He loves toys, especially stuffed animals, and is motivated by affection and treats. Rusty thrives with other dogs and would benefit from having a canine companion in his home. He has shown friendliness toward both dogs and cats and has also done well around kids. Currently almost house trained, Rusty handles being in his crate well, and he can be left alone for a few hours with other dogs nearby.
