About Minerva
Meet Minerva, aka Minnie! This shy tortie has been through a lot after losing her lifelong home when her elderly guardian moved. With some patience, love, and perhaps a few treats, sheโs starting to reveal her true personality. Minnie takes her time to trust; she doesn't rush to you, opting to inspect before she settles in. Once she decides you're worthy, she transforms into a velvety lap heater with a soothing purr. Classy and well-mannered, Minnie is quietly hilarious if you pay attention. She has excellent litter box habits, meticulously grooms herself like a little tortie fashionista, and claims her cozy hideaway spots as royal thrones. Whether it's a sunny window or a secret box, she appreciates them all. If you need a companion who will silently judge your decisions but still cuddle you, Minnie is your girl. She thrives in a calm, indoor-only environment without children and would prefer to be the only pet. However, a gentle, respectful cat or dog might be welcomed. Vet visits can be tricky for her, as she dislikes them; mild sedation may be needed. However, the reward is a cat who will share a lifetime of trust, soft purrs, and a touch of sass. Minnie is currently in a loving foster home. To meet her, an online application is required, which can be submitted through the Animal Friends Rescue Project. Take the first step to meet this special girl today!
