About Dr. Pepper
Meet Dr. Pepper, a fluffy, outgoing Manx/domestic long hair mix who has bounced back from a tough start. This three-year-old sports a unique bob-tail and likes to show off his bold personality. He’s very social, always eager to greet new faces, and happy to rub up against anyone willing to pet him. Lounging by the window or sprawling on a cat tree is his idea of a perfect day—when he isn’t busy batting toys or exploring every nook he finds. Dr. Pepper’s curiosity keeps things lively and fun. He was diagnosed with Manx syndrome, which means he needs a prescription urinary diet, daily medication, and occasionally dribbles, but he takes it all in stride. He’s hearing impaired or possibly deaf, but this hasn’t slowed him at all. Harness and stroller walks? He’s got those mastered. Dr. Pepper hopes for a home with adults or cat-savvy kids over six. He may get along with a confident cat or a calm dog, but isn’t the right fit for gentle or shy cats. His adoption fee is fully sponsored, and he’s available as a foster-to-adopt opportunity. Dr. Pepper is in Pacific Grove, CA, waiting for someone ready to give him a bright future. Click apply to start the adoption process.
