About Luna Rae

Luna Rae is an exceptionally charming mix of long-haired Dachshund and Miniature Poodle, boasting silky black locks that truly turn heads. At around 3.5 years old and weighing 11 pounds, she’s not just pretty; she’s also a delightful companion ready for her next adventure. Originally from Texas, she’s looking to settle down in the Northeast. Sweet and friendly, Luna Rae is well-behaved and enjoys the company of other dogs, although she prefers to be the leader of the pack and might not want to share her toys or food. She has a medium energy level, loves to lounge around, and is house trained. She barks only when she wants to alert you, and enjoys her chew toys—a Nylabone is a favorite! Luna Rae walks on a leash with some encouragement and is fine riding in cars. She has gotten used to roaming free in her foster home and inevitably sleeps in bed next to her foster mom, so she hopes her forever home will offer similar comforts. The adoption fee is $750.
