About Rocky
Meet Rocky, a gentle soul in search of someone who believes in him. Just under a year old, this young male Havanese is a bit shy but has a kind heart full of potential. While he may not jump into your lap immediately, he's sweet and never aggressive. Rocky simply needs a family that understands relationships take time to build, especially his trust. One of Rocky’s greatest joys is being around other dogs. His playful spirit shines through when he’s with canine companions, boosting his confidence and bringing out his playful side. A home with another friendly and confident dog would be ideal for him. Rocky enjoys accompanying his foster mom to work, where he’s become a great office buddy. He rides quietly in the truck, settles at her feet, and curiously investigates visitors, always wanting to approach them on his own terms. His crate serves as his safe haven, a place where he feels comfortable. As he grows more confident, he’s learning to step out of his comfort zone, marked by little victories like seeking closeness and wagging his tail for the first time. He’s working on potty training and will be neutered soon, which should help with any marking behavior. Rocky deserves a calm home with a patient heart that understands the journey of earning trust. If you can offer him that, he'll reward you with one of the most meaningful bonds imaginable. Click apply to start the adoption process.
