About Pop
Meet Pop. If you believe there's no such thing as being too close to your cat, Pop has been waiting to meet you. This affectionate little guy has one goal: to be as close to his people as possible. While most kittens settle for a lap, Pop aims higher. His favorite perch is on shoulders, and he would gladly snuggle against your face if given the chance. Personal space? What’s that? When he’s not soaking up attention, Pop enjoys perfecting his climbing skills, playing with his siblings, and tackling every new adventure with the joyful confidence that only a kitten can possess. His loving nature and outgoing personality make him an instant favorite wherever he goes. Pop's journey began in a garage in Macon, Mississippi, where he and his siblings—Freedom, Independence, Stars, Stripes, and Sparkler—were found as tiny neonatal kittens needing around-the-clock care. Thanks to two dedicated foster homes, Pop has grown into a healthy, happy little boy ready to find his forever family. If you want a constant companion who greets you with affection and reminds you that you’re never alone, Pop could be the one. Kittens under four months are typically adopted in pairs or to homes with a friendly, playful cat already present. If you’re seeking a single cat, consider one of our older kittens or adult cats. All Sweet Paws animals are loved by their rescuers and volunteers. Pop will be up-to-date on vaccinations by adoption day, but keep in mind that kittens require ongoing vet visits in their first year. Only apply if you're committed to welcoming him into your life.
