Meet Aurora! Just like the northern lights she’s named after, Aurora is absolutely breathtaking. This lovely tortoiseshell girl has a sleek, elegant build, with a coat that sparkles with beautiful flecks of color like stars in the night sky. A sweet little tan tip at the end of her tail adds to her irresistible charm. Born on a rural farm in Mississippi, Aurora has spent her early days among a large colony of free-roaming cats. Now in a nurturing environment, she’s discovering that people, toys, and cozy beds can be quite wonderful. A thoughtful, observant kitten, she takes her time to observe before joining in on the fun. Building confidence day by day is a rewarding process, and with love and patience, you'll witness her transformation into a playful, affectionate companion. Aurora adores the company of other cats and would thrive in a home with a friendly feline friend. She’d love the opportunity to be adopted with one of her siblings—Stardust, Moonbeam, or Orion—so she always has a familiar companion by her side. While she hasn’t met dogs or young children yet, she’s open to new experiences with gradual introductions. If you’re searching for a kitten whose beauty matches her gentle spirit, Aurora is ready to light up your home. Kittens under four months must be adopted in pairs or to homes that already have a playful resident cat, as they flourish best with companionship. If you’re only looking for a single cat, consider adopting one of our older kittens or adults. Your kitten will come up to date on vaccinations at adoption, but remember, new kittens will require multiple vet visits during their first year.
