She thrives in a peaceful home where she can unwind, go for daily walks, and receive plenty of attention. Well-mannered and house-trained, she knows her basic commands and is happy to settle into her crate when needed. Independent yet sociable, she relishes being close to her loved ones. Good news for cat lovers: she gets along well with cats and can peacefully share her space with calm dogs. Empress is also great with older children who respect her need for quiet time. If you're in search of an easygoing companion who balances affection with independence, Empress could be your perfect match. Empress is currently located in Minneapolis, MN, arriving from Texas on 8/7/2026. She will be available for pickups from Ruff Start Rescue between 9 a.m. and noon on that day. Since she will be new to the area, she’s part of the Foster to Adopt program until her arrival. Learn more about how that works! Keep in mind, Empress is recovering from heartworm disease and will need some quiet time during her treatment. RSR covers all treatment costs, and the adopter will help with upcoming vet visits.
