About Maxwell

Maxwell has had a tough start, but he's steadily bouncing back. At just over a year old, he’s a mixed breed with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mom and a Shih Tzu dad, and he’s full of potential. Initially shy and unsure, he warms up with time and affection. Once he feels comfortable, expect some serious loyalty; he'll want to be close and loves to snuggle under the covers. He's house trained and has a thing for treats, though he's been a bit picky with his food. Currently around 10 lbs and still gaining weight, he’s making strides in recovery from being underfed in his past. Max enjoys walks and behaves well off-leash. He interacts wonderfully with both dogs and kids, making him a suitable family pet. If you’re looking for a gentle soul who craves love and companionship, Maxwell could be the right match. He’s vaccinated and preparing for neuter surgery soon; a refundable deposit facilitates adoption before that. Updates and more photos will be shared as he settles in. What are you waiting for?
