Kanga
AvailableKanga is a young, altered female Yorkshire Terrier mix, weighing in at approximately 5.5 lbs. She has a cream-colored coat and is currently house trained. Living in Frisco, TX, she is vaccinated and looking for a home that fits her needs, specifically without young children and ideally avoiding apartment living.
About Kanga
Kanga has recently weaned her puppy, Roo, and is ready to find her forever home. This sweet girl is a true snuggle bug, reveling in every lap she can find and enjoying belly rubs whenever possible. She loves to curl up under the covers with her foster mom at night. While Kanga coexists with other dogs, she doesn’t show much interest in playing with them. She can be a bit snappy when meeting new dogs, and resource guarding behavior has been noted, particularly with toys and bones. Her foster family is actively working on these behaviors, and with a strong owner, she could thrive alongside non-reactive small dogs. Potty training is progressing well—she uses a potty pad when available, and she settles quietly in her kennel when left alone. Kanga is best suited for a home without children under high school age and not ideal for apartment living due to some vocal tendencies. This 1-year-old, 5.5 lb Yorkshire Terrier mix is ready to bring joy to a new family. If you think you can provide the right environment for her, don’t hesitate to apply.
