About Eli

Eli and his brother Mark were picked up from a tough spot in town and haven’t stopped spreading joy since. Both pups quickly revealed their playful, silly side and love to romp around and make people laugh. Eli is believed to be a Yorkie and Dachshund mix, just around 3 months old with a soft medium-length coat, weighing in at 8 lbs. He’s energetic, affectionate, and all about fun. He gets along well with dogs, cats, and children, making him a fit for a family with a warm, social home. He’s not yet house trained, so expect a bit of puppy mischief at this stage. Anyone interested should know the adoption group asks for a local adopter in the DFW area, someone at least 25 years old, and with previous dog experience. They want a home with a fenced yard (no apartments), someone present most of the day, and a reference from your vet. They also require a home visit before adoption. All these steps are in place to make sure sweet Eli lands in safe, loving hands. Every animal has a story, and Eli’s ready for his next chapter. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
