About Major

Major is a striking black tri Australian Shepherd with a docked tail and a freckly face that perfectly match his sweet personality. At about 2 years and weighing around 55 lbs, he radiates joy and affection, believing that personal space is overrated. His favorite pastime? Showering his favorite humans with kisses and constant love. Having come to us as a stray, Major has bounced back remarkably, thriving in a loving environment where he feels safe and secure. He's crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night, though he can be a bit stubborn when it's time to come out in the morning. Whether inside or outside, he prefers to be where his people are, soaking up all the attention they can offer. Major gets along fabulously with other dogs and cats, proving to be quite adaptable. He has even shown indifference to chickens! Major has nailed commands like "sit" and "paw/shake," all while being eager to learn more. His enthusiasm sometimes gets the better of him, and he’s still mastering the art of keeping all four paws on the ground when he's excited. This affectionate companion is ready to bring his endless joy and loyalty into a family that values training and daily exercise. If you want a pup who will make you feel cherished every day, Major is eager to meet you!
